We definitely got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and airy, with comfortable beds and lovely showers. The location was perfect, with outstanding views and a beautiful village just a short walk away. The staff at the Railway Hotel and Bistro were friendly and the food was delicious, especially for those with gluten-free diets. The large garden was a bonus, perfect for the kids to play in while we enjoyed the stunning views.

Loved the outstanding views and the spacious, bright house. Bonus points for the garden furniture. The village had everything I needed including a gluten-free friendly restaurant. Netflix on the TV was a nice touch.

Just the usual stuff, like a saggy bed, scorching hot showers, and unresponsive hosts. Oh, and let's not forget the broken toaster and the kitchen lacking in basic supplies.

I recently stayed at Host & Stay - Strathview and had a wonderful experience. The view from the property was absolutely breathtaking, and the spaciousness of the house was impressive. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the showers were a delight.

There were a few minor inconveniences that I encountered during my stay. The kitchen equipment and fixtures could use some updating, as some items like the clothes hanger in the utility room, the coat stand, and the brush handle were broken.
